From the article: Geometry and Architecture
We need math to design buildings that are strong and stable. Is math also necessary to design buildings that are beautiful?
- How important are numbers and ratios to creating pleasing, satisfying shapes?
- Why is it that some numbers and ratios are repeated again and again in building design?
- Can great architecture be expressed in a mathematical formula?
Which the more important now...
- I think that the argument (numbers are the only real thing in the universe) showed the status of math-science ... But what provokes the human really is the fact that we did not know beauty until now. So the beauty is what concerns me now, not math ... sorry for my poor writing ...

The rational mathematics
- If a belief system is what guides one's actions and aspirations, the rational mind agrees or disagrees with things being beautiful. The colour, size, shape, scale, and proportions are all subject to it.These are the attributes of form found through rational mathematics.

Math Architecture
- Math definitely has to do with beauty. Just like music is an art, and has rhythm, math motivates it. The ratio of this room to that room, the number of windows, the pitch of the roof, the curvature of the landscape - when you think about it, it's endless. Who wants a space with no rhythm for the eyes?

Past, present and yet the unknown..
- There are countless existing structures anywhere that represents ugliness and beauty. In architecture there is something in the designer that produces new and classical structures that are amazingly beautiful. The world will always witness these things to happen again and again...If there is a formula for beauty, then all structures will be seen as beautiful.

Beautiful Math???
- I know there is much math involved in the building of a structure. The structure, the necessary sizing of materials, and proportions are all mathematical. But the question is much simpler than, "Is math involved in beauty?" Beauty is and always has been, in the eye of the beholder - no more and no less. What I consider beautiful is not what my wife considers beautiful. If you don’t believe me, ask your spouse, partner, or significant other. Then you will be set straight.

Math for Beauty
- Math is an exact science; dealing with a specific answer to a problem. But beauty is something that penetrates the soul and it is hard to quantify. Even its creator cannot foresee the limit of impact it caused.
