- I think you will regret the vinyl siding. I like Gloucester sage Benjamin Moore on cedar shakes. It goes great with cream trim

2113-10 Chocolate Sundae
- I used this Benjamin Moore color for our 3-square and was amazed with the result. I get wonderful comments from the neighborhood, too. Chocolate Milk may be too light. I would paint the brick part and "sidearms" a shade of Vanilla, a nice contrast to the warm brown. I agree that shake and clapboard siding may be a little too much together. An idea would be to cover the upper front facade of the house with stucco. Leave the bottom with siding to go with the sides of the house. With the brick entrance you can create an interesting visual effect. Good luck!
