From the few records I found on the house, I know that it was built in 1890. The house is located in Laredo, Texas.
Victorian Features
I think the house is a Folk Victorian. The original design (not including the tacky additions on the back) is in an "L" shape. The house has some old looking tile on the front porch that I think might be original to the house. The porches that are currently seen are said to have been added in the 1990s by the owners then, but I'm sure the house did have some kind of porch when it was first built. The tall rectangular windows are Victorian for sure, judging by photos of other Victorian homes I've seen in photos.
Tips and Tricks
Old homes can be a pain to restore, but with a little work and lots of friends, an empty house can be turned back into a home.
