About My Old House
We just purchased our new OLD home and is was built in 1858, in Kingsbury NY. (Washington County). We have just begun to research the history of our new home.

We love EVERYTHING about our LARGE old house...... that is ......everything except the heating costs!

Lessons Learned
- Close off unused areas in the winter, and turn down the heat
- When you remove old wallpaper, be aware of what you may find
- Make-sure to inspect your old wiring
- Seal or replace all drafty doors and window before winter
