The AT&T Headquarters (now the SONY building) appears to be a sleek skyscraper in the Interntional Style. However, the peak of the skyscraper is adorned with a broken pediment that was scornfully compared to the ornamental top of a Chippendale desk.Today, the AT&T Headquarters by Philip Johnson and John Burgee is often cited as a masterpiece of Postmodernism.
