Graceland Mansion was home to rock star Elvis Presley from 1957 until his death on August 16, 1977. The house is a Colonial Revival built in 1939 on land that was once part of a Civil War farm. At least 700,000 tourists visit Graceland every year, making Elvis Presley's home one of the most popular attractions in the United States.
