Zaha Hadid's design for the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum is startlingly deconstructivist. Bold angular shapes rendered in glass and aluminum will create a unconventional addition to the Michigan State University campus in Lansing. The building will encompass 41,000 square feet on three levels with more than 18,000 square feet of exhibition space. Zaha Hadid has planned for a vast outdoor sculpture garden adjoining the museum.
Construction is underway with completion planned for 2010.
