Frank Lloyd Wright revolutionized the American home when he began to design "Prairie" style houses with low horizontal lines and open interior spaces. The Robie House in Chicago, Illinios, is perhaps Frank Lloyd Wright's most famous prairie house.
Originally owned by Frederick C. Robie, a businessman and inventor, the Robie House has a long, low profile with linear white stones and wide, nearly flat roof and overhanging eaves.
