Frank Lloyd Wright designed the plans for the Fontana Boathouse in 1905. In 1930, he redrew the plans, changing the stucco exterior to concrete. However, the Fontana Boathouse was never built during Wright's lifetime. The Frank Lloyd Wright's Rowing Boathouse Corporation constructed the Fontana Boathouse in 2007 based on Wright's plans.
