Ski Chalet?
We wanted unique - we got that & more!!! Apparently our house is a Steiner Arch - but who is Steiner? Closest I can find to anything is some work by Goethe in post- modern Germany and the Galerie des Machines in Paris. Does anyone have any idea what this is??? It's 3000 square feet of ski cabin on a beautiful 5.5 acre farm. I love its bones but its a renovating nightmare right from re-roofing to hanging pictures and removing carpet from the walls (yes, I said walls!!).
The house has ten foot ceilings, beams and a huge great room. I need to find someone who knows this style to confirm if I really can rip out the centre wall upstairs -- supposedly non-load bearing, but who really knows!!

Built in about the 1970s, the house is located on top of a mountain, near a world-class cross country ski area. Perhaps Jodi's home wants to be a European chalet?
