In the television
series The Frontier House, three modern families took over a 160-acre
stretch of land in Montana and built rustic frontier style homes. The weekly
show (premiering April 29, 30, and May 1 on most PBS stations in the United
States) documents their triumphs and frustrations as they attempt to live without
technology.
