"This house, located in the north Oak Cliff part of Dallas, apparently was moved to its current location in or about 1945 (based on study of old city directories and Sanborns Insurance maps). "Under the brick veneer is a clapboard frame house. The interior walls are plank with ancient wallpaper (directly on the wood) and covered by thin plaster board. Other clues to its age are remains of knob and tube wiring insulators in the attic (no longer in use as the house was rewired sometime later). "I am at a loss to define the style by a name. Any ideas? A few people have indicated that the vintage is 1915 to 1925. My next puzzle is identifying where it might have been moved from." ~WHATKNOT99 Photo
