The Mystery

A reader from Massachusetts writes:

We just recently bought this brick home and would like to know more about the architectural style and features of homes of this period. The 'Isaac Adams House' was built in ca. 1800. Is it a Georgian Colonial? What kind of windows would have been typical and what kind of an entrance? We are renovating the home and would like to do it right. Your advice would be appreciated.

Is the house Georgian?  Georgian Revival?  Or... Something else?

Clues:
  • The house has 6 Rumford fireplaces.
  • Also notice the twin chimneys and symmetrical design.
  • And... Remember, the year is about 1800.
