Hemicycle Designs
by Frank Lloyd Wright

The Curtins Meyer House by Frank Lloyd Wright, Galesburn, Michigan

The hemicycle, or half-circle, is noted for its arched glass front and its flat, protected back side. An important example of Frank Lloyd Wright's hemicycle designs is the semi-circular Curtis Meyer House in Galesburn, Michigan. Built in 1948, the Curtis Meyer House by Frank Lloyd Wright is similar in shape to the earlier Jacobs II House in Middleton, Wisconsin, built in 1936.
