Architecture to Drool Over
Wednesday April 23, 2008
I wish National Architecture Week (April 7-13) was National Architecture Month. Now that the AIA (American Institute of Architects) has wrapped up their festivities, I'm finding out about dozens of interesting events that I missed. But there's one thing that I can hold onto, and that's the lush new book they unveiled. Architecture: Celebrating the Past, Designing the Future (compare prices) is a collection of essays, vignettes, and profiles from 70 big name architects and others. A whopping 560 photos make this glossy coffee table book something to drool over.
