Born March 29: Raymond Hood

One of the most important Art Deco architects, Raymond Hood, was born on March 29, 1881. Even if you don't recognize his name, you probably know his work. Raymond Hood designed three of the most distinctive buildings in New York City: the Radio City Music Hall auditorium and foyer, the RCA building at Rockefeller Center, and the New York Daily News building.
