Not dead yet. They may be ending Saturday delivery, but the U.S. Postal Service still delivers. Photo of brick, depression-era post office in Lancaster, New York The Act of February 20, 1792 permanently established the institution, which means the USPS turned 221 this week. Our gallery of Post Office Buildings in the U.S. showcases nearly twenty of these federal facilities. Celebrate their architecture, before they close completely.
