The great domed roof of the Louisiana Superdome has been whipped by some mighty hurricanes over the years, including Katrina in 2005.

Today, the great domed structure is officially named the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. After the American football game on Sunday, Louisiana's famous dome will have hosted seven Super Bowls—more than any other sports venue. I like a good comeback story. And a good roof.
