Today's architecture students are so lucky. They get to use iPads! When students from SCI-Arc and Caltech designed a house for the 2011 Solar Decathlon, an iPad app gave them an efficient way to control electric functions. The most respected architecture schools are the ones that show this kind of ingenuity, so we weren't surprised to hear that Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) continues to score a top-10 ranking in DesignIntelligence's listing of America's Best Architecture & Design Schools.
Check out some of the top U.S. architecture schools at Architecture School Rankings 2013. Surveys won't really tell you which school is the best one for your particular needs, but maybe we can get some ideas about where the pioneers of new architectural technologies are learning their craft.
