Dubai Does It!

It's official! The Burj Dubai, now tallest building in the world, is finally open. Never mind the economic woes that sent Dubai spinning. No expense was spared in celebrating the launch of the record-breaking skyscraper. The festivities included lavish firework displays and a last-minute name change: The Burj Dubai (or "Dubai Tower") is now called Burj Khalifa, after Khalifa Bin Zayed, the president of the United Arab Emirates.
