Remembering Charles Gwathmey
Can any architect improve upon the work of Frank Lloyd Wright? After much controversy, Gwathmey Siegel & Associates designed a 10-story addition to New York's Guggenheim Museum that some critics called a masterful enhancement to the landmark museum.
The often controversial architect Charles Gwathmey became famous for unapologetically Modernist works like this home in Potomac, Maryland.
Charles Gwathmey died on Monday. He was 71.
