Here in the midst of Thanksgiving preparations and holiday shopping, it's horrifying to watch events unfold in Mumbai, the historic city once known as Bombay. So much death and destruction. Why?
One historic site targeted by terrorists is the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai, India. Built in 1903, the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel is an architectural landmark next to the Gateway of India monument. The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel features onyx columns, vaulted alabaster ceilings, a cantilever stairway, and prized collections of Indian furnishings and art. Its 565 rooms are decorated in Moorish, Oriental, and Florentine styles. The terrorist attacks caused extensive fire damage.

I Know, I am only 13 but my mom has been watching this on the news all day and it caught my attention. It is kind of scary. And sad watching the kids cry! They must be so scared.
I am in Indiaam 18 yrs old…This is an very ddisturbing incident….I cant understand how can people kill in the name of god…It just doesnt make sense……I hrd there were prayr ceremonies being organized as far as New York…..Its humbling that the support the world has shown. I only hope that the world unites and pray that it doesnt take another incident liek this to make people believe that every human life is important, that our ( human beings’s) petty differences seem very less in comparison to what we have in common….we our one planet, one species….Lets stand together to fight this monster..Amen…Peace….May god bless the world…..
