Jean Nouvel Collects His Prize
Today's the day French architect Jean Nouvel officially receives the 2008 Pritzker Architecture Prize, along with a $100,000 grant
and a bronze medallion. Nouvel is known for opulent, sensual designs that defy conventions. His works include the dramatic Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis and the cigar-shaped Agbar Tower in Barcelona, Spain. The award ceremony is being held at the Library of Congress in Washington,D.C.
