Architecture or Sculpture?

From the distance, you might think this curving structure is a piece of driftwood tossed onto the rocky California shore. Step closer and you'll see stained glass windows and mosaic tile floors. Created by artist and architectural designer James Hubbell, Sea Ranch Chapel might be called organic architecture, but there's also an arts & crafts quality to the simple wooden forms. Do we really need a label?
