Stacking Earth Blocks at Loreto Bay, Mexico The other day, I mentioned the efforts of real estate developers to construct a healthy, sustainable village in an unspoiled region of Baja California Sur, Mexico. How are they doing it? Part of the secret is "dirt." By using compressed earth blocks (CEBs), the builders are creating houses that are energy-efficient, bio-friendly, and amazingly strong. You can watch the process in our photo tour, How to Build an Earth Block Home.
