Hurricane-Proof Architecture

insulating concrete walls As Hurricane Katrina plows into New Orleans, I wonder what type of building, if any, can withstand the force of such powerful wind and rain. The hurricanes in Florida taught us that the most storm-resistant homes are constructed with concrete, and dome-shaped homes have held up surprisingly well. But, can any building be safe from Katrina's wrath?
