It is very dissapointing that in a way we as a society are losing our will to create beauty. Gone are the days when real art was created. It’s all about money now, and keeping the peace with a corrupt government that is sucking the life out of us individual Americans one by one. This new millenium is a dark time indeed and all we can do is watch and cry as the world sinks deeper into deterioration.
Sorry I spelled disappointing wrong. I was rushing, and I apologize if I’m coming off too gloomy or hopeless, but something has to be said about this sad state that society is heading in artistically. This new Freedom Tower design spawned from fear has completely lost the powerful symbolism that Daniel Liebskin’s original design from 2003 had. That design already was mediocre at best, but this 2005 redesign is absolutely depressing. Something had to be said and this is my opinion.
