House Helpline: Norwegian Gingerbread?

Tuesday May 17, 2005
Mystery House 2308 - Norwegian Gingerbread Built by a railway station in Middleton, Wisconsin, this Victorian home used to have a wrap-around porch with intricate gingerbread trim. The detailing is unusual and the homeowner thinks that perhaps it may reflect the influence of Norwegian immigrants who settled in the area. Have you observed trimwork like this where you live? Tell us about it!
