WTC Architects Speak Out
Saturday October 9, 2004
Have you ever wished you could listen in on the conversations between the folks who are rebuilding in New York City? Here's your chance. A recent conference presented by the New York Chapter of the American Institute of Architects brought together top names involved in the World Trade Center reconstruction. WNYC radio host Leonard Lopate led a discussion between Daniel Libeskind, the designer of the master plan for Ground Zero, Michael Arad, who designed the Ground Zero memorial, and Santiago Calatrava, the architect of the transportation hub at the former World Trade Center site. Here's an edited transcript, recorded by the Gotham Gazette.
