9/11 Memorial Design Chosen

The Jury has decided. The memorial design titled "Reflecting Absence" by Michael Arad and Peter Walker will be built to honor those killed at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 and February 26, 1993. However, the design that will be unveiled next week is likely to be an adaptation of the original concept, which called for a grove of trees along a reflecting pool.
