Reality TV: Which Building Should Be Saved?

Thursday August 14, 2003
In a lively British TV show, pop celebrities ask viewers to vote on the future of an old building. The winning structure gets to be restored. The one-hour show, "Restoration," airs twice a week on BBC2. As you follow the series, you can also sign up for restoration courses, explore an online restoration library, and discuss restoration projects in a discussion forum. Even if you can't get BBC2 in your area, the official Restoration Web Site is packed with fascinating information and activities. And, if you are thinking about restoring your own home, be sure to check our resources page for Historic Preservation.
