Are Architects Necessary?

Wednesday August 13, 2003
Recently, two major newspapers both ran articles about building a home without using an architect. The Washington Post described the process of designing a home using a computer software program. The New York Times discussed how to decide when you need an architect. Excerpts from both articles along with commentary and links to the full text are posted on the ArchVoices Web site.
